Breakout Raphoe is a youth project that focuses on LGBT+ young people aged between 12 and 30 years old. The project operates a weekly drop-in provision in Letterkenny and four other locations in Donegal. Those who are members can avail of training, information and one to one support. The project is specifically for young LGBT+ people, LGBT+ allies and young individuals who believe in social justice.
The group was established in October 2021 and a meeting takes place each Thursday evening from 4-6 pm. The group enjoys social drop-in type sessions with opportunities to partake in planned activity-based workshops and meet ups with other Breakout groups in Donegal.
