Pobal Senior Alert Scheme involves the provision of personal monitored alarms to allow older people to continue to live securely in their homes with confidence, independence and peace of mind. It is a small pendent you can wear around your neck or wrist. If you fall or are in any sort of danger, you simply push the button which essentially calls for help. You have to be over 65 years of age to qualify for this scheme.
